Texas Whitetail Hunts

Leave all that work to us – all you need to do is show up and hunt!

Our Texas Whitetail hunts are offered as complete hunt packages, which includes food, lodging and guide fees. No batteries to go dead, no wasp stings to doctor, no corn to refill in that feeder the raccoons just emptied. Leave all that work to us-all you need to do is show up and hunt!

Whitetail deer hunts on the Farrell Ranch are for either 3 days & 2 nights or 4 days & 3 nights, depending upon the Texas Trophy Whitetail Hunt Package selected.

Hunters check in at 1:30PM on the first day and checkout by 11AM on the last day. Extra hunt days can be purchased with advanced notice. Airport transportation and meat shipment can be arranged.

NO HARVEST NO PAY TROPHY FEE

Some outfitters keep all prepaid Trophy /Harvest Fees whether or not a Hunter is successful in taking their animal. On the Farrell Ranch, our policy is simple- if you don’t get your animal as specified in the Hunting Agreement, you are refunded the appropriate prepaid Trophy/Harvest Fees.

MANAGEMENT TEXAS WHITETAIL DEER PACKAGE HUNT: $3,400.00

This hunt is for 3 days, 2 nights (2 full days of hunting). It includes the opportunity to harvest (1) mature management Texas Whitetail deer (our choice) not to exceed 125 B & C (gross). A $900.00 Booking Deposit per Hunter holds the hunt date; the balance of the Package Fee (Trophy Fee) of $2,500.00 is due 30 days prior to the scheduled hunt date. A Booking Deposit of $450.00 is required for any non-hunting observer.

CLASSIC TEXAS WHITETAIL DEER PACKAGE HUNT: $4,900.00

This hunt is for 3 days, 2 nights (2 full days of hunting). It includes the opportunity to harvest (1) mature Texas Whitetail deer not to exceed 140 B & C (gross). A $900.00 Booking Deposit per Hunter holds the hunt date; the balance of the Package Fee (Trophy Fee) of $4,000.00 is due 30 days prior to the scheduled hunt date. A Booking Deposit of $450.00 is required for any non-hunting observer.

TROPHY TEXAS WHITETAIL DEER PACKAGE HUNT: $8,100.00

This hunt is for 4 days, 3 nights (3 full days of hunting). It includes the opportunity to harvest (1) mature, 5- 1/2 year old or older Texas Whitetail deer not to exceed 155 B & C (gross). A $1,350.00 Booking Deposit per Hunter holds the hunt date; the balance of the Trophy Fee of $6,750.00 is due 30 days prior to the scheduled hunt date. A Booking Deposit of $675.00 is required for any non-hunting observer.

NOTE: An additional $200.00/inch Trophy Fee (in addition to the Trophy Fee above) shall be assessed for deer taken which exceed 155 B & C (Gross). Hunter shall pay any additional Trophy Fees prior to leaving the premises.

MEASUREMENT OF WHITETAIL DEER ANTLERS

Measurement of Whitetail Buck horns (for pricing only) shall be performed per B&C methods listing gross green measurements (before deductions) on a measurement sheet by the Ranch’s taxidermist prior to the animal leaving the Farrell Ranch. Hunter shall witness all measurements and of recordings of measurements and shall sign measurement sheet for acceptance upon completion of the process. ONCE ACCEPTED BY THE HUNTER, THE COMPLETED MEASUREMENT SHEET, LISTING THE TOTAL OF THE GROSS GREEN MEASUREMENTS (NO B&C DEDUCTIONS) WILL BE UTILIZED TO DETERMINE THE FINAL PRICING OF THE DEER.

TIPS & GRATUITY
A tip to the guide consisting of up to 10% of the Trophy or Harvest Fee (per animal/hunter) is customary in the Texas hunting industry. If you don’t receive the highest level of expected attention, feel free to reflect that discrepancy in your tip given.
